   This is one of my favorite quotes because it is so true of what many jurors feel
   in a DWI case. They hear the prosecutor argue the safety of our streets as if
   this should be the justification for convicting a person opposed to the 
   particular  facts in a case. Yet many people are persuaded that they must
   make a verdict  a public policy statement as opposed to a decision based on
   facts and the law.  These people lose sight of the concept of 'not guilty' until it
   is too late, until it is  them.
